EDUCATION & TRAINING

The Manheim Technical Center, which has been housed at Manheim DRIVE since DRIVE opened in 2006, is now closed due to recent restructuring. The Tech Center offered reconditioning courses on vehicle damage analysis, condition report writing, detailing, collision boot camps, paint & body repair and more.  A number of the Tech Center members are now part of the Recon Operations team at the home office in Atlanta, reporting to Fredrick Standfield, Vice President of Recon Operations & Planning. They are appropriately aligning their resources to support internal and external customer training needs. There will only be a handful of training courses that will continue to be held at Manheim DRIVE while additional training will be conducted in the field:

- All training for Condition Report Writing for Manheim employees will be offered by the Manheim Inspections team. This includes any field training requested by the operating locations. Contact Renee Hook at 615-762-2668 for dates and locations.

- Frame and Structure training as it relates to Post Sale Inspections will be held in the field in strategic locations to accommodate the six regions four times annually. Two of the classes will be held at Manheim DRIVE and two classes will be held at TBD locations in the field. Tentative DRIVE training dates: January 26, 27 and August 10, 11.
